In 2018 Accord Driving the Game and Pitch Sports were contracted by multiple clients to plan, implement, and execute transportation services for 2018 FIFA World Cup. For the first time in Football history, FIFA World Cup was hosted by Russia - the biggest country in the world. The matches took place in 12 stadiums, distributed in 11 cities with up to 1500 miles distance between each of them (that’s about the same distance as between Moscow and London). Enormous distance, quantity of stadiums and training areas involved, time difference – all these aspects made this Tournament one of the most challenging, complex, and delicate in respect of Operations, Planning and Service delivery.

During this huge Event, Accord Pitch Doha was responsible for the mobility of the FIFA Constituent client groups who are afforded individual levels of service: PMA’s, Officials, VIP/VVIPs, Media&Broadcasters, Sponsors. APD designed and implemented transportation services for about 15000 passengers in all 11 cities. All the clients had enormous schedules, pick up locations, destinations etc. For some client-groups APD implemented the special shuttle-system, which was planned in accordance with FIFA LOC rules and regulations.
