The XXXI Summer Olympic Games were held from 5 to 21 August 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This was the first Olympic Games to be held in South America. Accord Driving the Game was contracted on the later stages of Preparation, just 90 days prior to the Olympics, to plan for and manage the transportation system for the Russian Olympic Committee and Russian Athletes who were faced an unprecedented ban from global sport.
OVERVIEW
Accord Driving the Game was brought on to design, implement and execute all transport services for Russian Olympic Delegation, including Russian Athletes, Sport Federations, Olympic Family members, VIPs and Top Sponsors. The task was complicated by local specificities, and regional realities, so our priority was to make transportation safe and secure while preserving efficiency and remaining in the client’s budget.
