Volkswagen Olympic Program (Sochi2014 Winter Olympic Games)
As automobile sponsor of the XXII Olympic Winter Games Sochi2014, VOLKSWAGEN Group Rus with its Brands VW, Audi, Skoda, and VW Commercial Vehicles, staged a large guest program in February 2014 in Sochi. The program than went for 28 days targeted TOP Volkswagen Group management and Board members, dealers, corporate clients, employees, celebrities and other VIP groups. For this project ACCORD was asked to provide the entire transportation service, support and fleet management including call center and taxi on demand service for all staff and guests of the Games.
Accord Driving the Game was asked to manage the fleet of around 350+ minicoaches, minivans, SUVs and light vehicles. To accomplish that task, Accord organised Fleet Management and Fleet Maintenance centre to keep the vehicles, to organise washing and fuelling, drivers medical check-up, dispatching and other services. There were organised several different transportation systems: Shuttle system, Taxi on-demand system and Dedicated vehicles for TOP Executives. Also, Accord organized a specific training programme for all the staff working on that project starting from the drivers and dispatchers to the Fleet managers.
